The Inside Connection music magazine founder, Joann Gullo, former KOCH Progressive Label Manager, Scott Kuchler and attorney, Shana Curti have founded a very unique joint venture, known as A&R Unlimited, LLC. A&R Unlimited incorporates elements of A&R consultation, Artist Development, Promotion, Internet Marketing, along with all other aspects of marketing and promotion.
Gullo, assumes the position of Chief Executive Officer for A&R Unlimited. Gullo got her start in the industry working radio promotions and was later promoted to Vice President of A&R at Eagle Eye Entertainment. After years of consulting and seeking talent for various major record labels, she founded The Inside Connection music magazine in 1997, serving as Publisher while building it up to a national entity with distribution of over 65,000 issues per month. Through her career she has worked with the likes of Madonna, Christina Aguilera, Sugar Ray, Usher, Garth Brooks, Korn, My Chemical Romance, Pearl Jam, Destiny’s Child, The Killers, Maroon 5, plus many other notable artists.
Kuchler, who serves as Director of Artist Relations and scouts talent all over the country, worked for KOCH International after interning on “The Howard Stern Show.” By the end of his 5-year tenure at KOCH, he had worked his way up to the position of Label Manager, for the Progressive Division, in which he worked with such artists as Carole King, Ringo Starr, Bill Wyman, Dave Davies, The Smithereens, Arlo Guthrie and Sir Bob Geldof, amongst others.
Curti, who serves as President of A&R Unlimited, began her music career in radio promotions. She also pursued music academically at New York University, receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Business, along with graduating at St. John’s University School of Law, where she focused on Entertainment Law. Curit is an experienced litigator at The Law Offices of Robert N. Nelson, is admitted practice in the State of New York, and is a member of the Entertainment Law Committee.
Amongst the staff of amazing consultants (too many too name), we are also honored to be working with Paul Michael, A&R Unlimited’s, Director of A&R. Michael has been a producer and songwriter for over 20 years working with many top artists to date. Michael has written and produced with the likes of Grammy award winner Mark Mangold (Cher, Michael Bolton, Jordan Sparks), The Alessi Brothers (Paul McCartney, John Lennon, Barbara Streisand) and Mark Gatz (The Cosby Show).
