Aoede (A-E-D) in Greek mythology was the first “muse of song,” and I, Lisa Sniderman, singer-songwriter for Aoede, chose this name both to inspire you and to remember to continually be inspired…I draw inspiration from my own life experiences and many muses and aspire to transfer this inspiration to you. When you listen to my songs, expect compelling stories of love, loss, and longing to spill out – intended to take you, shake you and wake you – emotionally evocative, intelligent, vocal driven *pop rock* …
It’s about YOU and your connection to me – I’m all about connecting with you in ways that make you feel and experience parts of yourself and hopefully resonate with you who has been there – and maybe after listening, you experience some part of your own self that you forgot about. Maybe you are inspired to live life a little more fully or feel something.
Propelled by our desire to connect with audiences, Aoede formed an indie *pop rock* band in 2005 comprised of San Francisco trio Lisa Sniderman, David Sands, and John Walden. Intensely personal, emotional, and mature songwriting is perfectly complemented by dark and moody grooves.
